Quality Assurance Officer

A local agricultural company requires the services of an experienced, motivated quality assurance officer based in Armidale. The purpose of this position is to assist the company in getting its quality management system ready for the IS0 9001 certification, with an initial focus on safety processes and documentation. The position is offered on a one year full time contract (with potential to extend) with flexible working hours for the right applicant. Key responsibilities are: Management of current quality management system, identification and preparation of documents, including policies, standard operating procedures task descriptions, safe work method statements, forms, manuals, codes and registers, updating and loading approved documents on to company intranet for access, promoting and auditing compliance of existing quality management system, and conducting internal training on the use of the quality management system.The successful applicant must provide their own way to and from work and transport will not be required whilst at work.
