FlatTrack enables young people who have lost their way to reconnect with education and training, become work ready and secure meaningful employment. Most importantly, we get young people ‘over their mountains and back on the flat track’ by developing strong, happy and healthy foundations that result in positive life pathways and full participation in their communities.

The FlatTrack program teaches young people life skills and takes a hands-on approach to learning while building a sense of belonging and independence. Our facilities include “The Shed” which is used for our woodwork, metalwork and mechanics, “The Farm” which is for learning farming and machinery skills and our community activities where we encourage the participants to help out local businesses or community members who are having a hard time. As part of the program the FlatTrack participants engage in the community by assisting local agencies, businesses and families with lawn maintenance, handyman services and support with disaster recovery.
